Description

No. 5 Rose Lane is a building that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 19th and 20th centuries. Originally, its former use is unknown, but it now functions as a shop. The structure features a rendered timber frame on the first floor and is topped with a pantile roof. It stands two storeys tall and has a jetty at the first floor. There are two widely spaced windows on the first floor, which are sash windows with glazing bars. The shopfront, added in the 20th century, includes a central recessed door. Additionally, there is a box cornice and a central gabled dormer that has a round-arched casement window.
