Description
32 King Street is a former public house, originally known as the Cock Public House, dating from the late 18th century with an early 19th-century extension. The building is constructed of red brick and has a pantile roof. It stands three storeys high and features four bays. The front has a simple 19th-century design with pilasters and double doors on the left side. To the right of the central vertical brickwork joint, there is a door with a semi-circular fanlight and plain pilasters. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, except for those on the ground floor, which have segmental arches. On the right side, there are two casement windows. The left side has a bracket cornice, while the right side features a fascia cornice with a central drop in the eaves level. At the time of the re-survey, the building was empty.
