Description

46 and 48 Magdalen Street is a building that was originally constructed in the 17th century and later refaced in the mid-18th century. It has been rebuilt and altered in the 20th century. The structure is made of red brick and features three storeys with four bays. The shopfront includes fluted pilasters and a rectangular fanlight above the central 20th-century doors. There is a yard entry to the right of the shopfront. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars, and it is topped with a parapet. The former use of the building is unknown, but it is currently used as a shop and offices.
