Description
No. 10 Bedford Street is a former building of unknown use, now serving as shops and a warehouse. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building stands three storeys high and features seven bays. The left-hand off-centre door is topped with a semi-circular fanlight that has radial glazing bars. On either side of the door are shopfronts with barley-sugar mullions and semi-circular window surrounds. There is a loading-bay door at the extreme right. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches with keystones. A bracket cornice completes the design.
