Description
This is an early 19th-century house located on Pottergate. The building is of red brick construction, with a rendered plinth and a slate roof. It is three storeys high and has two bays. The left-hand side features a doorway with a reeded surround and architrave, incorporating corner roundels, and a flat hood supported by small cast-iron brackets. Sash windows are present throughout, each with a flat rubbed brick arch. A box cornice sits above the second-floor windows. Remarkably, most of the original early 19th-century interior features remain. The building was undergoing renovation at the time of the original survey.
