Description
No. 86 on St. Benedict's Street is a building from the early 17th century, with a later 17th-century front section. Originally used for an unknown purpose, it is now a shop. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with three bays. The front range is rendered, while the rear range is constructed of flint rubble and timber frame. It features pantile roofs and has a 20th-century shopfront. There is a carriage entry on the right-hand side, and the first floor has sash windows with glazing bars. A fascia cornice is present, along with two sloping roof dormers. The rear range also has three bays, with casement windows, including one from the 17th century.
