Description
No. 6 Tombland is a house, now used as an office, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped pantile roof with one brick chimney. The building has three storeys and four windows on the first and second floors. The ground-floor facade, which is from the 19th century, has a half-glazed door located to the left of the centre, adorned with moulded brick details. To the left of the door is a small transomed window, while to the right is a four-light mullioned and transomed window, both situated beneath a continuous label moulding and a dentilled string course. The flat-headed sash windows have thick glazing bars, although the right second-floor window is missing some bars, and they are set under cambered arches. The facade is similar to that of the adjoining No. 19 Princes Street, which has one window on each floor. Inside, there is an exposed timber ceiling on the ground floor featuring a dragon beam.
