Description

A terrace of eight houses, numbers 26 to 40, located on the south side of Sussex Street, built in the early to mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick with a rendered plinth, and have a pantiled roof and six brick ridge chimneys. The terrace is two storeys high and has eight windows on the first floor. Each house has a narrow, panelled door to the left, with a plain overlight set within a round-headed brick arch. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars in flush-fronted wooden frames, each set under a flat brick arch. Windows at numbers 30, 34, and 38 are 20th-century casements with glazing bars.
