Description

Haydn House is a pair of houses dating from the 18th century, located on The Close. They are constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The central entrance features a pair of panelled doors topped with rectangular fanlights. Fluted pilasters frame the doors, which are surrounded by a plain architrave and a flat hood. The houses have sash windows throughout, complete with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. There are also central blind windows and a fascia-board cornice.
