Description
This is an early 19th century terrace block of two-storey cottages, numbered 10 to 22, originally known as Chapel Yard and formerly Ranters' Yard. The brickwork is limewashed, and the roof is covered with pantiles. The cottages have toothed eaves bands. Originally, they all featured flush frame sash windows with glazing bars, although many of these have been altered. The doors were originally 4-panel doors with hoods supported by shaped brackets, some of which have also been altered. This terrace block forms a group with the former Ranters' Chapel and Burnham House.
