Description
This is a terrace of four houses, originally four weavers' cottages with an added cottage, built in the early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The exterior is of washed English garden wall bond brick, with a Kerridge stone-slate roof and three brick chimneys. The building has a curving rectangular plan, with an 8-bay facade over three storeys. The windows are predominantly 4 or 12-pane horned sash windows, set beneath cambered brick heads. The top storey features 6-pane windows. The original 5-board doors survive at numbers 3 and 4, while numbers 1 and 2 have 6-panelled doors set within simple wooden architraves, one of which is pedimented. A two-storey cottage was added to the right end, featuring 12-pane sashes under flat brick heads. The property is listed for group value only.
