Description
Pear Tree Cottage is a house dating to 1770, with alterations and additions made in the 20th century. The house is constructed of rendered brick, with a Kerridge stone-slate roof, a stone ridge, and two plastered chimneys. It is a two-storey, two-bay building. The windows are 3-light wooden casements with applied lead glazing. A plaque reading JEB 1770 is positioned between the upper windows. A lower 20th-century addition to the left of the original facade has a door set within a surround of rock-faced rubble. The property is listed for group value only.
