Description

Ivy House is a house, now also incorporating a shop, dating to around 1700. It is constructed of brick with a plain tile roof. The building follows a lobby entrance plan and has two storeys over three bays. The central door is flanked by flat brick pilasters with moulded block capitals, although the pilasters were rebuilt in the late 20th century. Giant order pilasters, with similar detailing, run along the façade at the corners, below a platband. The ground floor has two 20th-century bow-fronted shop windows. The first floor has three horned sash windows. The gabled roof features a rebuilt central ridge stack.
