Description
This is a 18th-century tithe barn located approximately 50 meters northwest of the Old Parsonage House. The barn is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof with gable parapets. The front facing the road has a large off-centre doorway to the right, six square honeycombed air vents, and a blocked doorway and windows to the left, along with oversailing eaves cornice. The gables also contain honeycombed air vents, with one square and one lozenge on the south side, and one lozenge on the north side. The rear of the barn has a large doorway that is partially blocked with flint, varied brickwork, and a shaped brick buttress. Notably, the northern part of the barn was used as a school from 1760 to 1825. The barn is part of a group with the Old Parsonage House.
