Description
Green Farm House is a 17th-century house constructed of flint and brick with a pantile roof. It features a long single range of five bays, with the fifth bay being an addition. The left side has a lobby entrance in the first and second bays, while the right side has a through passage in the third and fourth bays. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two axial stacks; the right stack is located between the original end and the additional fifth bay, and the left stack is between the first and second bays.
The walls exhibit varied construction, including galletted flint on the central first storey, brick in the first and second bays, and coursed flint in the fifth bay. There are two doorways, each with double-leaved doors that have glazed upper panels; the left door is situated between the first and second bays, and the right door is between the third and fourth bays. A 19th-century gabled porch with a pantile roof is present over the left door, while the right door has a late 19th or early 20th-century flat wooden canopy with brackets. The windows are altered, featuring five aluminium-framed three-light casements with transoms, dating from around 1980. The left gable is made of coursed flint and has two brick square hood moulds for blocked openings. Inside, the fourth bay contains a roll moulded beam with run-out stops.
