Description
Grove Farmhouse is a building dating to the 17th century and around 1800, situated in Wighton. The walls are of cement render on flint, with brick detailing. The roof is slate-covered. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The early 19th-century facade features two tripartite sash windows on the ground floor, with glazing bars. Above are three windows with glazing bars. A doorway has a segmental fanlight, panelled base, glazed upper section, flanking panels and margin lights. Eaves have brick-coped parapets, end stacks, and a central stack. The rear of the building reveals a 17th-century single-pile lobby entrance house constructed of pebble flint with brick quoins and dressings. A window at the southwest corner has brick quoins and a drip mould, and is mullioned.
