Description

27 Bridge Street is a building likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of plaster and has a colourwashed finish. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features a window in the tumbled gable on the west side. There is a first-floor band and a rather steep pantiled roof. On the first floor, there are three flush frame sash windows, which now only have centre glazing bars. The ground floor has a shop front on the right with a woodcase and a large display window on the left. The building has a plinth. Nos 23 to 27 (odd) form a group.
