Description
22 Kneesworth Street is an early to mid 19th century building. It features colour washed rough plaster and a hipped machine tiled roof with an eaves cornice. The structure has three storeys and three windows. The second floor has sash windows, while the first floor has flush casements. The ground floor includes three 19th century shop windows supported by console brackets, with slender Doric pilasters and simplified entablatures that have friezes and cornices. There are also two smaller windows at either end, each surrounded by architrave. This building is included for its group value with Nos 14 to 22 Kneesworth Street.
