Description

This is a terrace of four early 19th-century houses located on Valingers Road, King’s Lynn. The houses are constructed of brown brick with pantile roofing. They are three storeys high and each house features a single-bay doorway and one window bay. The front elevation has a door to the right and left, with paired doors centrally. The doors all have panelled reveals and open pediment hoods. Number 10 retains its original five-vaned fanlight; the others have plain fanlights. The doors at numbers 9 have a 20th-century panelled design, while the others have 20th-century glazed or other door types. All windows are renewed sash windows with horns, with the exception of number 8, which has uPVC top-hung casements. The brickwork of numbers 8 and 9 has been rebuilt. A blind window is located on each floor above the central doors. The gabled roof includes two symmetrically placed ridge stacks, with the stack on the west side being rebuilt.
