Description

No. 33 Friars Street is a house dating from around 1840, constructed of gault brick with a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays. The central entrance consists of a panelled door set in a timber case, which is topped by an open-pedimented hood. Above the door is a semi-circular overlight, although the fanlight has lost its glazing bars. The windows are replaced sashes with glazing bars, positioned under gauged skewback arches. The roof is gabled and has been rebuilt, and there are internal gable-end stacks.
