Description

Dairy Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on High Street in Thornham. The building features whitewashed cement render and a black glazed pantiled roof. It has a symmetrical facade with two storeys and three bays. On the ground and first floors, there are two sash windows with glazing bars. The central doorway is adorned with simple fluted pilasters topped with block capitals, an entablature, panelled reveals, and a six-panel raised and fielded door, which is complemented by a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. The first floor also includes a central arched-headed fanlight glazing barred sash. A brick dentil eaves cornice and two end stacks complete the structure.
