Description

Pear Tree Cottage and Trees Cottage is a house dating from around 1700. It is constructed of coursed, squared clunch with brick dressings and features a red pantiled roof. The building is two stories high and has four bays. The east front includes three ground floor wooden framed arched headed two-light casement windows with glazing bars, and on the first floor, there are four two-light casements with glazing bars, all set within brick dressed openings. The door is off center. The house has a flint plinth, brick quoins, eaves, and coped parapet gables, with two end stacks and one axial stack. The north gable facing the road is flint, and there is a brick outshut addition to the rear at the northwest. The property is included primarily for its group value.
