Description

This memorial, located 20 meters east of the north gate of the churchyard of St. Peter, dates back to 1708 and is made of limestone. It features a rectangular shape with a coved head designed as a three-centred arch. Two female caryatids support Ionic capitals, which in turn hold skulls. These skulls are adorned with an incised linear string course. The inscription panel is bowed and square. At the top of the memorial, there is a weathered carving, likely representing the Angel of Death with spread wings. This design is extremely unusual.
