Description

This headstone, made of ashlar, dates from 1701 and is located 23 meters south of the central buttress of the Church of St. Andrew on Northwold High Street. The headstone features an inscription in the form of a monogram, which is now illegible. Its roughly rectangular shape is enhanced by large, fleshy scrolls that alternate between receding and advancing. Above the inscription panel, there is a depiction of a skull and crossbones.
