Description
Elmer Lodge is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a gault brick facade and has slate roofs. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with the central bay projecting forward. A square porch with double panelled doors is flanked by unfluted columns and has an overlight above. There is a balcony on top of the porch, which is surrounded by cast-iron railings and accessed by French doors. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are topped with gauged skewback arches. The house has a hipped roof with two stacks on the rear slope. A rear wing, also two storeys, is lit by casement windows and has a gabled roof with ridge stacks.
