Description
Frating Abbey Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped grey slate roof. The building has gault brick chimney stacks on both the right and left, which are adorned with pilasters and coping. It includes a cornice and central bands, as well as end and two central pilasters, giving it a square plan. The façade has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes with gauged brick arches above them. There is a recessed central porch supported by Ionic columns, which contains half-glazed double doors flanked by sidelights. To the left of the main house is a red brick range with a hipped roof, featuring three first-floor and two ground-floor small paned vertically sliding sash windows.
