Description

Toll Bar House is a tollhouse that has been converted into a private residence, built around 1830. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a slate roof. The building is single-storey with a central demi-hexagonal bay that has a hipped roof. In the center of this bay is an arched door, flanked by canted sides that each contain a 2-light Y traceried Gothick casement window. On either side of the central bay, there is one similar casement window. The hipped roof is topped with two symmetrical ridge stacks.
