Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of brick and features pantiles and plain tiles on the roofs. The building has a modified H plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. The facade consists of three central bays, with single bay gabled cross wings on either side. The quoins are made of ashlar stone.
There is a central 20th-century porch and door, which is flanked by late 19th-century sash windows on each floor, set within altered openings. Above the door, there is a tripartite sash window. The roof is gabled, and each cross wing has one tripartite sash window on the first two floors, with a sash window in the attic, all under gauged skewback arches. The building features low parapets on kneelers and rebuilt ridge stacks on the cross wings and to the left of the centre of the main block.
At the rear, there is a full-length 20th-century conservatory and modern fenestration. A 20th-century kitchen extension is attached to the west wall.
