Description

Castle Road Bridge is a bridge, likely built in the late 18th century, with later repairs. It is constructed of gault brick and features stone copings on the parapets. The bridge has a single elliptical arch that spans the now dry Little River. There is a raised band and a decayed inscription tablet on the north face. The curving parapets have undergone repairs but still retain their stone copings. This country road bridge is mostly intact and forms a notable group with the nearby Castle Meadow.
