Description

The Village Cross in Wormegay is a cross that likely dates from the 14th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features an octagonal shaft that is set into a square socket stone, which is then placed on a square plinth. The entire structure is positioned on a 20th-century base. This cross is also designated as a scheduled ancient monument, with the county number 200.
