Description
Barret Ringstead Farm Barn is a barn located 25 metres northeast of Barret Ringstead Farm House, dated 1717 on its south gable. The barn is constructed from squared, coursed clunch with red galleting and features brick dressings on the quoins, ventilation holes, gables, and parapets. It is a three-stead threshing barn with two cart doors at eaves height on the east side. There is a 20th-century lean-to made from temporary materials on the west side. Inside, the barn has a four-bay roof divided by tie beams on wall plates, with two ranks of butt-purlins and collars.
