Description
No. 24 Tuesday Market Place is an office building from the early 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick, featuring rendered quoins and details, and has an asbestos tile roof. The building stands three storeys tall and is divided into three bays. The central doorway is framed by a rendered architrave and is topped with a hood supported by reeded scrolled consoles. The windows are sash style, with the ground floor windows lacking glazing bars, while the upper floors have one glazing bar each. The building has gauged skewback arches and brick keystones above the windows. There are string courses between the upper floors, and a parapet that conceals the sloping roof.
