Description

No. 48 King Street is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features a pantiled roof. The building stands three storeys tall and is divided into three bays. At the right-hand side, there are 20th-century aluminium doors set into a basket carriage arch at the rear. To the left, there are two sash windows, while the upper floors each have three sash windows, all of which include glazing bars and are topped with gauged skewback arches. A parapet conceals the roof, which is likely gabled, and there are internal gable-end stacks.
