Description
No. 36 on King Street is an early 19th-century house that has had a shopfront added in the early 20th century and is now used as offices. The building is constructed of brown brick and features a corrugated tile roof. It stands three storeys tall and is divided into three bays. There is a flat carriage entrance to the rear, located on the left side. To the right of this entrance is the shopfront, which includes an entrance door. There is one tripartite sash window to the right of the shopfront, which has horns but no glazing bars. The first floor has three sash windows without glazing bars, while the second floor has three similar windows, except for the southernmost window, which does have glazing bars. All windows are topped with gauged skewback arches. The roof is gabled with a central ridge stack.
