Description
Two houses, built around 1840, are now converted into flats. The building is constructed of red brick with dressings of gault brick, and has an artificial slate roof. The design is double-pile, with three storeys over six bays. Brick quoins mark the ends of the elevation and the left side, defining the boundary with the adjacent property at No. 44. The remaining five bays are symmetrical, featuring a central 20th-century entrance door. The windows are sash windows with a single glazing bar in each pane, set within gauged skewback arches and brick keystones. A moulded brick cornice sits below a parapet. The roof is hipped, with one chimney stack positioned to the right of centre and another towards the north end. The rear of the building has a similar window arrangement.
