Description

The dog kennels, located 20 meters north-west of Barton Hall, were built in 1856. They are constructed from brick and iron, featuring a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The structure consists of a series of five lean-to kennels that are covered by a sloping roof. Access to the kennels is provided from the forecourt through segmental arches. The forecourt is enclosed by wrought iron verticals in a circular section, with square corner stiles resting on a brick plinth. There are five gates made from similar materials, each with solid bottom rails.
