Description

Millgate House is an 18th-century building of red brick with a pantiled roof. It is two storeys high with an attic. The front elevation features two sash windows and a central entrance on the ground floor, all beneath flat, rubbed brick arches with decorative keys. The central entrance has a six-panelled door set within a moulded door surround. Above are three window openings; a central casement window with leaded lights, and two sash windows. Rusticated brick pilasters accent the corners of the building. A dentil eaves course runs along the top of the walls. The building has two pedimented corner features containing sash windows, and parapetted gables with internal chimney stacks.
