Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century water mill constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building is three storeys high with attics, and has an L-shaped plan. It features casement windows and fixed lights, all with segmental heads and keystones on the ground and first floors. Plain brick pilasters are present, as are brick dentil eaves. Two entrance doors are set within semi-circular headed openings. Some window openings have been blocked. Gabled and weatherboarded lucums (small projecting dormers) are located on the west and south sides, featuring curved braces on corbels. A semi-circular headed attic window with leaded lights is found in the south gable. The parapetted gables have tumbled bargeboards. The eastern range has been altered and converted for new uses.
