Description

The former estate office, located approximately 25 meters northeast of Heydon Hall, dates from the early 19th century and is currently derelict. It is constructed of red brick and is roofless. The building is two stories tall and square in shape. The ground floor and first floor feature window openings with flat gauged arches and keystones. There is a semicircular-headed doorway at the southwest corner, which includes a four-panel door and a blind fanlight. An off-centre chimney stack is located on the north wall, and there is a first floor window opening on the west side. The building has castellated eaves parapets and an attached short screen wall at the southwest corner. Additionally, there is a square gate pier topped with a decorated urn-finial. This structure is included for its group value.
