Description
Pettywell Farm's outbuildings, located 20 metres east of the farmhouse, date back to the 18th century and are constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a rear lean-to as well as a later eastern lean-to. The south side has three arcaded bays, with a 'Gig House' on the western end. Curved oak lintels support segmental brick arches, resting on heavy oak posts that swell at the top where they meet the lintel. Inside, the granary has a floor made of heavy transverse hardwood beams and joists, along with an inserted staircase and a butt purlin roof.
