Farm House, mainly early C19, but with early C17 core. Built of colourwashed red brickwork and pantiles. Of 2½ storeys with 'U'-shaped plan. The southern wing is double pile. East facade, 5 bays, a, b, b, b, a with central prostyle, Tuscan, stuccoed portico, of 6 paired columns and 2 outer piers, with heavy entablature and cornice. The south range in mainly of the original Lobby Entrance type house and incorporates in its south and east Walls, 5O mm bricks in English Bond. The south elevation is of 4 windows, those opposite the off centre axial stack being blank. The rear pile of the south range projects to the west, with a curved gable and polychrome brickwork of the late C19. Sash windows with glazing bars. Stone sills and segmental gauged brick arches, The north facade, of 4 windows with off centre entrance door. In the courtyard, lean-to and flat roofed kitchen extension. Eaves with paired shaped brackets. Roof hipped to north east and south east, with western gables with brick tumbling-in. Gault and red brick axial stacks. C17 door and frame to cellar. Cl7 winding stair against the south wing axial stack. Fine early C19 cantilevered geometric stair with wrought iron balustrade and bracketed steps.
