Description
The Former Top House Public House, located in Reedham, is a public house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with gault brick dressings and features a pyramidal slate roof with a central chimney stack. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three bays, which includes sashes with glazing bars and gault brick flat arches. The ground floor sashes are fitted with margin lights. The central doorway is adorned with fluted pilasters and an entablature, featuring a two-leaf half glazed door with raised and fielded panels. Additional architectural details include plain corner pilasters and an eaves band made of gault brick. There is also an attached screen wall to the yard, constructed in coped red brick with gault brick piers.
