Description

This is a milestone and memorial pillar built in 1856. It is made of ashlar and stands free with a square section. The plinth is inscribed as a milestone and features a stepped and moulded design leading up to a chamfered stem that is inscribed with the names of battle sites from the Crimean War. Above this, there is an octagonal collar that supports an obelisk head topped with a cross. Additionally, there are a pair of wrought iron lamp brackets attached to the stem.
