Description
Church Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Church Road in Beeston. It is constructed from gault brick and features slate roofs, built in a T plan with two storeys. The cross wing facade has three bays of sash windows with glazing bars, all beneath rectangular hood moulds. The centre bay is advanced and gabled, with the corners adorned with pairs of shallow pilasters that create pointed arches at the eaves level. The gable ends of the cross wing mirror the design of the centre bay. There are dentil cornices on the gables and a plain platband. The service wing has casement windows with glazing bars, also beneath rectangular hood moulds. The front door, located to the north, showcases Gothic panelling. There is a stack at the rear of the main block and another at the gable end of the service wing. Inside, there is a sweeping staircase featuring square-sectioned balusters and shaped tread ends.
