Description

The remains of the Church of St. Paul, a former parish church, date from the medieval period and later. The structure is built of flint with ashlar dressings and is mainly roofless. It features a west tower, an aisleless nave, and a chancel. There are some restored reticulated tracery elements in a 14th-century style. The remains include polygonal chancel arch responds and a tower arch with two plain chamfered orders without responds. The tower still stands to its full height, while other architectural features are obscured by abundant vegetation or fallen masonry.
