Description

The War Memorial Hall, located at 1067 Norwich Street, was built around 1810-1815. It is constructed of red brick and features rusticated pilasters on its flanks. The building stands three storeys tall and has three 4-light casement windows with glazing bars and segmental heads on the first and second floors. The roof is hipped and tiled, and there is a band at the first floor level. The central entrance is framed by Ionic pilasters and has a segmental pediment. The ground floor has been altered and features three arches on each side.
