Description

The building is an office located immediately south of Nunnery Barn in Thetford. Originally part of the Benedictine nunnery of St George, it dates back to around 1160 and was suppressed in 1540. After various uses, it was converted into offices in 1990 by Derek Rogers. The structure is made of clunch, limestone, and brick, topped with a pantiled roof. It is a single-storey building featuring a west wall that includes an embedded pointed transverse arch from a former quadripartite vault. The roof is gabled, and the south side has windows that were added in 1990.
