Description

This milestone, located on the north side of The Street in Gooderstone, dates from around 1800 and is made of limestone. It is not complete and was formerly square in section. One side features rustic lettering that reads "ATT/ON (Watton) 8 M" along with a pointing hand, while the opposite side displays "SW/HA (Swaffham) 4 M".
