NEW BUCKENHAM MARKET PLACE (south side) Range of houses at junction of Boosey's Walk

3 houses. 1529. Timber framed with rendered wattle and daub infill and roof of black glazed pantiles. 2 storeys on brick plinth. 3 doors to ground floor with one late C18 casement. C20 bay windows close facade below coved jetty. 4 renewed casements to first floor. Gabled roof with ridge stack left of centre. Remaining timber work on interior of thin scantling. Continuous roof structure of 2 western houses consisting of 4 square section chamfered crown posts with arched braces supporting crown purlin. Purlin now used as ridge piece for renewed roof of lower pitch. One 6-light blocked ovolo mullioned window to rear inserted mid C17, the centre pierced by C19 casement.
