Description

The building comprises former stables and a coach house, with a later sawmill and industrial chimney to the rear, dating to the late 18th century, with additions probably from the late 19th century. The construction is of brick and flint, with pantile roofs, and the sawmill is weatherboarded. A prominent, pedimented central structure features three semicircular arched openings. Two of these contain boarded double doors, while the third has been reduced to a narrow doorway with an arch filled with ventilation slats. The pediment above is adorned with dentil cornices and a central clock face, with an empty bellcote on the roof ridge. Flanking wings, now used as garages, have two-leaf doors and hipped roofs. A square industrial chimney and the weatherboarded sawmill are located to the rear.
